He is the Music Director for the films Journey-Bombay to Goa, Nehle pe Dehla (Title song ), Siddhivinayak Mahima (Title Track), legendary singer Asha Bhosle starrer film Mai and the music producer for Mumbai Can Dance Saala.

Nitin Shankar has even composed the song “Rab Rakha” performed by legendary singer Asha Bhosle at the GIMA 2010.

"Asha reveals Real RD" released in 2006  was another versatile album by Ashaji. She had hand picked some original classics of Pacham Da and the music of this album was recreated by Nitin Shankar.

The album Pancham Tumi Kothay was the living legend Asha Bhosle’s tribute to R.D.Burman. The album comprises of 8 super hit Bengali tracks handpicked by Asha Ji, previously composed and sung by R.D. Burman. All the 8 tracks have been re-arranged by Nitin Shankar and sung by the living legend Asha Bhosle herself. 

Nitin has also released another album with artist singer Devaki Pandit and Roop Kumar Rathod (Suno Zara) comprising of his very own compositions

 
Nitin has given guest performance percussions in International albums by Trilok Gurtu named Broken Rhythms and Massical.
